Your child's first visit, step by step
Plan on about 45 minutes. You stay with your child the whole time.
Step 1: Request a visit
Use the form or call us. Tell us the day that suits you and how you'd like us to reply.
Step 2: We look at your benefits
If your child has dental insurance, our front desk reads the plan's benefits and tells you what the plan says it covers before you come in.
Step 3: Fill in the forms at home
Health history and consent forms are in the practice's own secure portal, not on this website.
Step 4: Say hello to the room
Your child sees the chair, the light and the tools, and holds the mirror, before anything else happens.
Step 5: Exam and a plan in writing
The dentist looks at your child's teeth and gums, takes X-rays only if they help, and tells you what they found. Any treatment comes with an estimate in writing.
Open your child's new-patient forms
Fill in the health history before you arrive. The forms open in the practice's own secure portal.

What do I bring to a first visit?
A photo ID, your insurance card if your child has one, and a list of the medicines your child takes. If you have recent dental X-rays, bring them or ask your last dentist's office to send them.
Do I give my child's health details on this website?
No. Our contact form asks for none. Your child's health history goes in the forms in the practice's secure portal.
Can I stay with my child during the visit?
Yes. Most parents sit beside the chair, and babies and toddlers can stay on your lap. If you would rather wait outside, tell us.
Can you get my records from my last dentist?
Yes. Give us the practice's name and phone number and, with your written permission, we'll request your child's records before the visit.
Ready to book a first visit?
Tell us a good time and how to reach you. We'll take it from there.
